I was fortunate enough to get to help out a lot around the community this year, and not only in Glenwood did I help out, I also helped out in California too! We went on a school trip to San Diego, we got to go help out at a homeless shelter. It really got to me when we were there, how fortunate I am, and how good it is to help the community. I think the saddest part was seeing how many kids were in there with there parents, and how they were saying that it was a better place then they were before. I couldn't even imagine having to go through that as a kid, and it made me feel really good helping out there for the day. So even if you don't have money or food to give, there still is a lot of other things you can do to help.
